Trailhead Park Community

New Albany, Ohio

This 30-acre mixed-use development is organized around Trailhead Park—a new public green that unfolds along both sides of an existing creek. Designed as the heart of the project and a meaningful amenity for the broader community, the park anchors a diverse mix of residential and commercial uses.
The commercial zone includes quick-serve restaurants, food trucks, co-working spaces, and event venues. Its layout transitions from a more formal structure at the northern entry to an open lawn that blends into the park to the south. The architectural language adopts a rural, camp-like character that reflects the site’s natural, free-flowing spirit.
Conceived as a “Life-Span Neighborhood,” the development offers a wide range of housing options—apartments, townhomes, single-family houses, tiny cottages, and an assisted living facility—supporting intergenerational living in a walkable, connected environment.
