SKETCHES & CONCEPTS
In my practice, I strive to uphold the time-honored tradition of freehand architectural drawing.
Sketching remains the most intuitive and immediate way to explore architectural ideas—bridging hand and mind in a seamless creative process. It is often also the most effective tool for communicating concepts to clients and collaborators.
Unlike polished digital renderings, the fluid and open-ended nature of a sketch invites engagement. It creates space for dialogue, interpretation, and shared authorship. In my experience, especially during a charrette, there is no more powerful way to spark collaboration than sketching ideas in real time—turning conversation into design.
