BILKENT INTEGRATED HEALTH CAMPUS - MIXED-USE DISTRICT

ANKARA, TURKEY

Conceptual and schematic design services for the commercial and residential District of the Bilkent Integrated Health Center—the largest in Europe—located 4.3 miles south of Ankara, Turkey’s capital. This District complements the 3,700-bed hospital with a mixed-use development featuring 645,000 square feet of retail, 840,000 square feet of office space, 645 residential units, and two 150-key hotels.

The master plan for the commercial area is structured around a sequence of plazas and courtyards, reflecting the scale and character of traditional Turkish towns. The architectural design draws inspiration from Seljuk and Ottoman architecture, creating a distinct identity for the district.
