Greenville Conference Center
Greenville, SC
This conceptual proposal, prepared by RocaPoint Partners for the City of Greenville, envisions a new downtown conference center paired with an adjacent 180-key high-end hotel. Developed in response to the City’s call for ideas, the project aims to establish a landmark civic destination at the northern edge of the new Greenville County Square mixed-use district.
Sited on elevated ground, the center acts as a threshold between Greenville’s historic core and its emerging urban neighborhood. The design leverages this topography to create a powerful visual gesture: a vast, north-facing glass façade that doubles as a reflective surface—transforming the downtown skyline into a dynamic backdrop and symbolically linking old and new.
